Emergency Shelter Arrives At Carmel Farm
JNF Pacific launched an urgent appeal after learning that their Negev project, the Carmel Horse Therapy Farm near Haifa, did not have a bomb shelter. As a result, all therapy had to stop following October 7th and the special-needs youth at the farm could not continue their therapies and progress. Within a week, the Pacific community fundraised enough money for a pre-fabricated shelter. It was an outpouring of love, solidarity and community effort. Carmel Farm re-opened once again and therapy programs are back on schedule. These special-needs youth continue to get the help they need, especially during such a traumatic time.
