Office Administrator - The Climate Solutions Prize

About The Climate Solutions Prize (CSP) 
The Climate Solutions Prize (CSP) supports our greatest minds to find breakthrough solutions to solve the global climate crisis. CSP is an unparalleled prize competition, platform, festival, and ecosystem. In October 2022, over $2M USD was awarded to Israel’s best and brightest minds to further their innovative solutions to address climate change. CSP has also launched a prize in Canada, as well as developing other mechanisms of funding for innovations around the world.

Job Description 

Primary Responsibilities: 


• Answering phones and opening/responding to mail and email 

• Working with the CSP team and partners to meet strategic deadlines 

• Communicating with local & international partners 

• Communicating with marketing team 

• Working with vendors & handling payments/accounting 

• Tracking sponsorship commitments & payments Issuing, tracking, and following up on invoices 

• Charging credit cards, bank deposits, etc. 

• Data entry through Blackbaud Creating weekly data reports through Blackbaud 

• Sharing updates with Chief CSP Officer & Director of Operations Attending board meetings & taking minutes 

• Other tasks requested by Chief CSP Officer & Director of Operations 

Experience and Skills Required: 


•  2+ years experience in a similar role 

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English (French is an asset) 

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

• Experience with Raiser’s Edge an asset 

• Ability to work independently 

• Ability to set priorities and schedules to achieve deadlines efficiently

Office Administrator & Database Specialist


Location: Montreal, Quebec Type: Full Time Min. Experience: 2+ years
Jewish National Fund of Canada The Jewish National Fund of Canada is a registered charitable organization that has cared for the land of Israel for decades. This mission took the role of planting trees, building water reservoirs, preserving natural habitats, and building parks and bicycle trails. More recently, JNF Canada has taken on projects to build the social infrastructure of the land of Israel for the benefit of the people of Israel. We partner with a variety of Israeli institutions and NGOs to build social infrastructure to benefit vulnerable populations such as youth-at-risk, victims of domestic abuse, veterans, and children with special needs. Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director & Campaign Director, the Office Administrator & Database Assistant has a keen understanding of accounting/data entry and is responsible for the maintenance of the donor database, and is a self-motivated and dynamic relationship builder who is helpful, efficient, and has an eye for detail. 

Job Description

• Maintaining and tracking accurate constituent records in CRM

• Managing data entry

• Issuing, tracking, and following up on invoices from donor pledges

• Creating regular data reports

• Tracking sponsorship commitments & payments

• Managing organization of electronic files in the cloud-based server

• Working with vendors & handling payments/accounting

• Managing Accounts Receivables (Bank deposits & credit card deposits)

• Managing Accounts Payables

• Sharing updates with Executive Director & Campaign Director

• Attending board meetings and taking minutes

• Supporting the development and mailings of letters and reports for campaigns 

Experience and Skills Required: 


• 2+ years experience in a similar role

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English (French is an asset)

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud an asset

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to set priorities and schedules to achieve deadlines efficiently
