Exploring contemporary challenges for the emerging Jewish generation 

Young Jewish adults are experiencing the conversation about Israel on social media, in the news, and in their personal networks. This inevitably includes anti-Semitism and rhetoric that can be difficult to navigate. How do we respond to this? What do we advocate for? How do we understand our own growing relationship to Israel? 

Join us for this free presentation and social gathering with Scott Goldstein, from the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA). This educational and social experience will help the next generation of Jewish adults develop greater confidence and understanding of the contemporary discrimination against the Jewish people and the Jewish state of Israel. 

Speaker Bio: 
Scott Goldstein is a Jewish advocacy professional with over a decade of experience working in Canadian universities. Scott's role focuses on supporting the Jewish advocacy needs at institutions of higher education across Canada while tapping into his deep roots in the world of pluralistic Jewish campus life engagement, leadership development, grassroots advocacy empowerment, and multi-faith engagement.

This is a no-charge event. Optional donations are welcomed to our 2023 Annual Campaign to build a home for adults with physical disabilities helping them to be more integrated in society, through an independent apartments, social activities and interaction with their community.
