WAYS TO GIVE

Planned Giving

Planned Giving

Planned giving is the donor-centred process of planning charitable gifts, whether current or future, that meets philanthropic goals and balances personal, family and tax considerations. It allows you to plan your giving as you would plan contributions for retirement, insurance and other aspects of your life.

Developing a plan for giving offers a number of benefits, including budgeting and allocating funds in advance, being prepared to manage regular or urgent requests for support, and saving time.

Examples of planned giving include: Charitable Bequests, naming a charity as beneficiary to a testamentary trust, establishing a private foundation, Donor Advised Funds (DAF), and more.

JNF Canada encourages you to consult with your qualified tax advisor to ensure your individual circumstances are properly addressed and that the options which are best suited to your needs and goals are considered.

We would be happy to discuss Planned Giving with you. Please contact your local JNF region to discuss planning a gift.
